ROCK SOULT was created from popular Gold Coast seven piece band, "Groove Doctor" when lead singers Lynda Hynes and Mick Angeles realised that they shared the same tastes in music and wanted to showcase themselves as a duo.

 

They have a natural stage presence together and work off each other's spontaneous banter as if it were well rehearsed. Their voices complement each other's and they can perform acoustically and/or with quality backing tracks. Both Lynda and Mick play guitar but you may also see  ukulele or banjo or mandolin appear on stage.

 

Their repertoire is broad covering a number of different genres from the Swing era through to today's Top Forty with show tunes and parodies thrown in for good measure.

 

ROCK SOULT supply all their own equipment including PA systems with a capability for larger venues or small enough to cater for a small restaurant gig so you are guaranteed the right volume level for the gig. They also supply effects lighting including LEDs, washes and lasers.

 

ROCK SOULT are available for any gig location provided enough notice is supplied. The normal 'riders' apply and are open to discussion.
